In March of 2003 Muncipal Well and Pump was recongnized along with other key contractors for our work in completing the Schiltz Audubon Nature Center. The $8 Million Nature Center is located along Lake Michigan in Bayside. The building will serve as an education center.

The project is unique in it's goal to be an eco-friendly construction project. The Center is seeking a Leadership in Energy and Environment Design certification.

Municipal's role in the project centered around drilling and installing a High Capacity Well System with an 83 GPM well pump, 10 HP submersible pump/motor along with (4) pressure storage captive aire style water tanks. Additionally, Municipal installed a 20,000 gallon capacity reservoir tank for fire protection.
